funk.

Since being back in Grenada (4 days now) I have felt in a bit of a funk...
and I'm sick.
blame it on the change in altitude and weather I guess.

I feel like an old lady here.  I am instantly more tired, more achy.  I did yoga the other day and thought my body would break in half.

Last night I pulled myself together and got paid to be photographed eating dinner at Port Louis with some enjoyable company.
It's nice knowing people with such connections.

My big part of the day consists of making dinner and taking it over to campus to Lee, just so I can see him for a few extra minutes.
We are both so over medical school it isn't even funny.  Term 4 is dragging on, and on, and on... Lee needs a break and I need my husband back.
It will be worth is someday. or so they say.

I'm still teaching my art class at the Montessori School and it is going well.
I made it to the pool Thursday, but it was so hot I felt like my skin was frying and only stayed an hour.
I've been to the grocery store once since being back (and should go again today) but I felt both over & underwhelmed in the store.
It's so hard and annoying to go from shopping at Kroger to shopping at our little IGA.  I wandered around the isles with no meals planned & ended up buying, cereal, milk, chicken, butter, cheese, and bread. still spent about $50US... and have no meals. haha

We officially took a break from volunteering for the summer... so Limes will start back up when the school year does, in August or September.  But I have a project going on with one of the families that I will tell you about later when I have more information, so I've still been stopping by to see everyone.  Next week I think I'll show up in the field with some balls and hope some kids will come play with me. haha. I miss them!
We still go up to Queen Elizabeth Home once a week, because I have a friend who drives, and those kids still keep us on our toes with their antics and adorableness.

So yea. that's why I haven't updated much.  I have no excuse. I have plenty of time.  I just don't have the gumption.

Transition is hard. I can't imagine how challenge it must be with a change as drastic as yours. I feel the same way when I got from Vegas back home to Colorado and come back and that's just the transition of a few states.

It'll come back to you.
