Sweet sleeping baby

The everyday ordinary little moments I don't want to forget and the real life annoyances I want to remember so I'm appreciative when things are good.

This has never happened - I was on the phone with Lee this morning and Leo came over and climbed in my lap and fell asleep. I didn't rock him or even pat him and it's not his nap time yet.  He's been a little sick and obviously this past week wore him out!

He woke up this morning and his first word was baball and he ran to his basketball hoop and started playing ☺️

We've only been home a few hours and it's already back to the real world - car issues, mountains of laundry, an empty refrigerator and can't go shopping because Lee took the car to work and I can't walk because I'm waiting on the internet company to come because our old company suddenly decided to charge us like triple.

Leo had dry Cheerios, peanut butter crackers, and applesauce for breakfast. I haven't eaten yet because I got distracted cleaning out the old food in the fridge I was in too big of a hurry to throw out before we left - molded strawberries and 2 week old fried rice kinda make one loose their appetite.

Thankfully there was a jar of pasta sauce so we'll be able to have lunch during the 12 hour window the internet guy might come.

But you know I woke up today so overwhelmingly thankful for family and friends and the opportunity to take Leo to camp where his family has spent summers for generations.

I'm thankful we have TWO cars even if one is 14 years old and sometimes gives us trouble.

I'm thankful for dirty laundry and dishes and a living room covered in toys.

I'm thankful for this sleeping baby in my lap - who's cold has given the cutest little snore ☺️

I'm thankful for a husband who works so crazy hard to not only provide for us but to help others.

Today we're back to sharing him with the sick and needy people of Ft Myers and we miss him, but it's ok.

Thank you Jesus for all these blessings and for loving us so.
