How to prepare for a two week absence...

1.  Wash all the laundry.  Make sure husband has at least 14 pairs of clean underwear to make it through... he will not have time to do laundry.
2.   Fill the fridge, freezer, and cabinets with every random thing you think he could possibly need or want food wise in the 2 weeks span.
  - 5 boxes of cereal, 5 boxes of milk, large bag of apples, two loaves of bread, new jar of pb, yogurt, 7 cup of soups, 7 cans of soup, 1 frozen pizza, 2 frozen tupperwares of spaghetti, bag of frozen chicken patties, 2 frozen rice dishes, couscous, dozen eggs, oranges, chocolate chip cookies... etc etc.
3.  Make his favorite meal the day before you leave and make plenty of extras so he'll have left overs for a few days...
4.  Wash all the dishes.  We own 9 bowls and 8 plates.  Break the news to him that he'll have to wash some bowls for cereal mid wife absence...
5.  Leave notes to he'll remember to water your plants....
6.  Clean the toilet b/c it won't get done for another 2 weeks.
7.  Put away all crafting supplies just in case he thinks it's junk and wants to throw it away...
8.  Leave note reminding him to pay rent so you have a home to come back to.
9.  Vow that once medical school is over you don't do this..... you didn't marry your father. :)

Exactly! Also clean out the refridgerator so he doesn't accidentally eat spoiled food or food that will spoil during your absence. Andy definitely never checks expiration dates.

Oh, my gosh this is hilarious. I will be gone for about 6 weeks this summer and I hope my hubby will survive without me doing all this. At least he will have food as he does work in grocery.
